Residents, we are back with another blog post for you! As we mentioned in our first blog we want to use this space to share with you all sorts of things to help you live your best life at Vance Jackson apartments. Part of that is making your space feel like home!
In the blog below we’re sharing a few decorating tips to help elevate the look and feel of your apartment. Incorporating these ideas will help put your unique stamp on your space and make it a place you look forward to coming home and relaxing in every day.
When you finish reading through this week’s blog post, we encourage you to send the link to this page to your friends and neighbors at your community of apartments in 78230. Thanks to everyone who did so after the inaugural post a few weeks ago!
Add A Headboard
Ever feel like your bedroom is missing something, but just don’t quite know what? There’s a good chance it’s a headboard! Adding a headboard is a great way to tie your room together and add an extra layer of depth and texture to the space.
If you’re on a budget there are a ton of easy DIY headboards that aren’t terribly difficult to make and can be done from the comfort of Vance Jackson apartments.
Keep Things Fresh
Fresh plants are a simple way to keep things fresh around your apartment. Even if you don’t have a green thumb there are still plenty of hearty plants you can choose from. Succulents are perfect for new plant owners and don’t require a ton of care. In addition to being pretty, plants other great benefits like reducing airborne dust levels and pollutants.
Most plants will come in a plain, boring black plastic pot. After you’ve picked out a few plants look for some cool new pots to transplant them in. This will help add a pop of color to your space and tie in any color themes you might already have.
Get Curvy
The design of your furniture can really change up the composition of your room. Apartments tend to be straight and angled. If you’re in the market for a new couch or chairs consider opting for ones with more rounded corners and body. If new furniture isn’t in the cards for you then have no fear! Try adding lamps with round shades or rugs to achieve a similar look and feel.
